Dr. Puchyr earned a PhD in chemical engineering while concurrently working
at a Hyprotech, a chemical engineering process simulation company, in
Calgary, Canada. In 1999, upon completion of his doctorate, he resigned
from Hyprotech and built an extremely successful Internet cafe in
Honolulu, Hawaii, which recently sold for 300,000US$. Wanting to make his
mark in the corporate world, Dr. Puchyr moved to New York for the position
of Associate at Goldman, Sachs & Co, a premier Wall Street firm, where he
worked directly with bond traders and developed and maintained programs
that automatically traded US government and agency bonds, both passively
and aggressively, in real-time. Although Dr. Puchyr thrived in the
high-intensity bond trading environment, his innate entrepreneurial spirit
was undeniable. So, in January of 2003, he resigned from Goldman, Sachs &
Co to develop businesses of his own. He is the inventor of Internet
Oasis™.
